Alone on a desert planet, Sidra despairs of ever escaping into the galaxy that calls to her from the stars. Her prayers seem answered when a spaceship crash lands on her planet. Sidra recognises her one chance for freedom and sneaks aboard.

A gruff Captain, a surly mechanic, and an alien pilot don’t exactly make up a normal crew, but the Fugitive isn’t a normal ship. They’re privateers hired to salvage the ship belonging to long dead war hero, Jake Prime. Except his ship isn’t as abandoned as they assumed. The secret Sidra discovers on that ship will send the Fugitive running across the stars.
