Dr. Audrey Cuff was inspired to write by her special education students. She wanted her students to reach their goals and aspirations regardless of their obstacles or shortcomings in life. She also wanted her students to understand how important it is to fight to better their community.
Dr. Cuff received her doctoral degree at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. She also earned certifications in Teacher of Psychology, Teacher of Special Education, and Supervisor of Education. Cuff was also nominated Outstanding Teacher of the Year in the 2005-06 school year.
She is currently a special education teacher in South Jersey. She has two children and is a vegetarian. She completed two marathons in Hawaii for AIDs and HIV research. Audrey also enjoys reading, writing, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends. The Ties that Bind Us is her second novel; her first novel City of Thieves is available on Amazon.
