While we do publish many genres, we are especially interested in forward-thinking books and work from highly-dedicated authors–those who are excited to do author events, talk about their book online, and write more books in the future.
Our publishing house proudly supports stories written by, for, or about LGBTQ+, POC, and other #ownvoices authors and characters. We are looking for new and emerging authors to tell new and reimagined stories.
We are also looking to publish more New Adult fiction and Young Adult fiction. While NA is still growing as a genre, YA is one of the most popular literary genres, proving how interested in literature young people are.

GenZ Publishing accepts one manuscript per author at a time. Multiple submissions will not be accepted unless within the same series.

A summary of your book in a Doc or PDF file: Overview of your story’s arc – the beginning, middle, and end
Each work will be individually evaluated. From there, authors that we decide to publish will be actively involved in the publishing process as we work to polish their story to its best self prior to release.
We try to respond in a timely manner, both with requests for full manuscripts and declines. You will typically receive a decision response approximately 2-6 weeks after sending your query.
If you do not hear back within that time-frame, you may check back in with us to make sure that it was received.
To keep our books high-quality, GenZ publishes under 15% of those who query us. All work submitted must be the author’s own work.
