We will be accepting Summer internship applications in March.
We welcome students, graduates, and those looking to break into the publishing industry.

Description
GenZ Publishing is an independent book publisher dedicated to giving everyone, young and old, a chance to write for their peers. Our publishing house proudly supports LGBTQ+, POC, and stories of diverse backgrounds.
We publish a wide range of fiction and nonfiction—including cookbooks, memoirs, poetry, paranormal romance, apocalyptic—and we aim to reach readers and authors around the world. Zenith Publishing, our first imprint, focuses on publishing New Adult and Young Adult fiction.
Working with both GenZ and Zenith manuscripts, interns will proofread and edit one or more books over the course of a 5-month period. The number of projects an intern will receive depends on the number of accepted books that need editing. The book(s) edited will be determined based upon the intern’s own interests.
Interns will receive an “editor” or “formatter” credit in the book if the author approves your suggestions. You might also be asked to help with marketing, formatting, writing, or social media tasks depending on the pace of the semester.
If students need to meet an hour quota for an internship course, we are happy to make arrangements and correspond with professors.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should have strong editing and proofreading skills. An editing test is given to interested applicants to determine the intern’s editing skills.
Length: 5 Months (flexible)
Location: Remote
Application Due Date: Closed
How to Apply: Please apply with resume at our job posting on Indeed.com, where you will be sent an editing test for the first phase of your application.
