She completed her Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Technical Communications from Iowa State University in 2017. She has been passionate about writing since she was in middle school. During her school years Miriam attended the Young Writers and Artists Conference at Bethany Lutheran College. Since her move to the Kansas City area, she has attended the yearly Johnson County Library Writers Conference.
