Miriam Wade

Miriam Wade is a Minnesotan transplant to Kansas City where she works as an aviation technical writer during the day and in the evenings, writes fiction. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Technical Communications from Iowa State University in 2017. Miriam loves coffee, renovating her home, and riding her motorcycle. When she is not writing technical documents or novels, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their two cats, Freya Virgo and Modi Taurus.

Miriam writes young adult fantasy, adventure, and urban fantasy driven by resistant young women, filled with twisty plots, and garnished with a hint of romance.

She has been passionate about writing since she was in middle school. During her school years Miriam attended the Young Writers and Artists Conference at Bethany Lutheran College. Since her move to the Kansas City area, she has attended the yearly Johnson County Library Writers Conference. She has been writing since she was a young child taking part in many different essay contests as a middle school student.

One Sword is Miriam’s  debut novel.
